Outdoor Living

The timeless stone and stucco exterior is complemented by nature at its finest. At the top of the driveway you are greeted by a cobble path, natural stone steps flanked by large rocks native to the property, and a covered porch in flagstone. Around back are generous patios comprised of interlocking stone and patterned concrete. Front and back are linked together by hand-picked stones that create a natural flow.

A trio of 12’x6′ vegetable gardens and expansive beds full of rich, fertile soil will satisfy the greenest of green thumbs.

The 14’x32′ in-ground salt water swimming pool is heated by solar panels mounted on the garage roof. Hot summer sun will see pool temperatures exceed 90-degrees (if you want it to – program your own target temperature) with solar alone. Additional heating can be added to extend the swimming season.

A sturdy 16’x16′ deck with screened gazebo overlooks the pool. A newly built 200 sq.ft. cabana finished with board and batten is ready to be completed on the inside. (Plumbing for a three-piece washroom, electrical supply, and a second conduit from the house for data cabling are in place.)

Summer affords endless opportunities to explore the outdoors. (Visit the Escarpment & Wildlife page.) Come winter, take advantage of your own pond for ice skating (be safe, please!) and your own hill for tobogganing. Grab your snowshoes or cross-country skis and hit the community trail that starts at the bottom of the property.
